We’d gladly come back. It’s a beautiful old house out in the country, and the food was fantastic. Everyone was very kind.

The grounds and location are beautiful, and the hosts were sweet and accommodating. The place could be a gold mine with some time and money put into it, though it needs a deep clean, more organization, and a little TLC. Dinner was served in a lovely room. My shrimp wasn’t the best choice, but the tomato salad and dessert were excellent. Breakfast was limited and not very good, and it had been set out the night before. I wish them well.

We got to our room around noon and were allowed in straight away. It was spacious, with a really comfortable bed. The property sits in a beautiful rural spot off the Camino de Santiago; we spent the day reading in the garden, taking a quiet siesta, and looking around the apple orchard. The food was delicious, with meat featured on all three menus. In the morning, breakfast was mostly pastries, bread, and fruit, plus fresh coffee. It was filling enough for a day of walking. I’d definitely recommend staying and having a meal at Pazo do Ludeiro.

I was excited to continue my Camino today, but I also didn’t want to leave. This place is absolutely gorgeous, with old world charm, and the website doesn’t do it justice. It’s off the beaten path, but if you’re after serenity and exceptional hospitality, you’ll find it here. Monica is a dream host and chef. With my terrible Spanish, we still managed to enjoy two fantastic, filling meals at very reasonable prices. As I head to breakfast, my expectations are high. My favourite stop on the Camino so far!

Monica and Oscar were fantastic. Our original booking at another Casa got cancelled, so they offered us a room at Pazo de Ludeiro, and I’m glad they did. The room was comfortable, and they made the best meal we had on the Camino. They were hospitable and helped us get back onto the Camino. I highly recommend Pazo de Ludeiro. Muchas gracias, Monica and Oscar. You’re both outstanding people.
