Casa Maika

The cold shower summed up a pretty awful stay. The landlady said the hot water took a while to come through, but when I told her I'd had to shower in cold water the whole time, she acted as if she hadn't heard me. Getting there was a pain too: the streets are narrow, and you have to leave the car a kilometre away in a dreadful lot where you worry the whole time about it getting scratched. Inside, there were holes in the windows, loose tiles, and sheets that looked like they belonged to another century. The air conditioner was so loud I couldn't tell if the building was falling apart or if it was just the unit running. The house might suit a weekend adventure, but I definitely won't be back and can't recommend the experience.

Inmaculada, the manager, was friendly and really helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. We spent Christmas here with the whole family, and found both the house and its rooms very welcoming. It was impeccably clean.

They were so kind and attentive. A main street was closed, so they took time on the phone to explain where to park and how to get inside. The country house is just a short walk from the town square, with several restaurants there.
