Apartamentos Rio Mora 2

Being allowed to check out late on our last day was a kind gesture, especially since we’d arrived very late. Most things were fine, though the sofa was really uncomfortable. The shower setup was strange too, and I’m not sure if it was meant to keep water from escaping with just one curtain.

The apartment has plenty of space, with a roomy bedroom and a double sofa bed plus a single bed beneath it. The kitchen is fairly well equipped, and the underfloor heating is a nice feature. It’s right by the church square below the castle, with parking just outside. A couple of small fixes would help: the shower floods, and the entrance door latch sticks.

The heating was the main problem. Once night came, the apartment got freezing, and because the thermostat was locked, we had to call the landlady. She arrived at 11:30 pm and acted as though it wasn’t cold. We all like different temperatures, and we ended up eating dinner on the sofa wrapped in blankets. It felt like they wouldn’t adjust the heat to suit guests because they wanted to save money. After that, the other shortcomings stood out too. You can’t hang up the shower control to use it, there are signs everywhere asking you to switch off the lights, there’s no shower gel, and we were given only two rolls of toilet paper. The apartment seemed cozy at first, but they don’t seem concerned with guests’ comfort and just want to make a profit.

We slept wonderfully, and the location was fantastic. The place was really nice and clean, with everything we needed. We’ll definitely come back.
