The ground floor stayed pleasantly cool even in record summer heat, and we were able to cook in the kitchen. The caretaker was quick to respond. My kids loved this unusual, beautiful place so much they didn’t want to leave. It feels like a cave, with the hill’s rock forming the back wall of the house. The street is narrow, so when we left, we got our bags ready and briefly parked in front to load them. There was parking fairly close, especially by the castle. I hope to return someday.

David was a great host, and we had a perfect weekend at this beautiful house. Every detail has been carefully looked after, and the bathroom is spectacular. The heating helped us through the low temperatures. Definitely recommended, and we’ll be back. Thanks for your hospitality, David.
