The owner was fantastic, and the town is quiet and close to Toledo. There’s a restaurant on the ground floor serving Chinese and Japanese food. Great!

The owners were extremely welcoming and nice, and for 30 euros this is a very good deal for a night or two. I was completely satisfied, as long as you know what kind of place it is: a humble, very old Hostal with well-worn, basic rooms. Mine was an okay size and clean, with very white, clean bedding. The aircon worked, though I had to buy new batteries for the remote. Hot water and WiFi were fine too. The building isn’t soundproof, so I heard other guests slamming doors. I’m a light sleeper, but headphones did the trick. I didn’t eat there, though the food smelled good. I came with a folding bike; they may have room for a full-size one, but I’d call ahead. My Spanish is very basic, and they spoke simply enough for me to understand. Thanks so much.
