O Curralino

We left a day early and booked somewhere else. The place was unbelievably dirty: the shower curtain and extractor fan were covered in black mould, the house smelled of dust and damp, and there was a dusty old sofa with a blanket, a chair that looked like it had more than 20 years of dirt on it, and stickers on the ceiling. How has nobody else mentioned this? Some people have no shame renting out a place this filthy. I hope the €200 we paid goes toward a professional cleaner, because this house needs one.

The hosts were incredibly helpful, and I had such a wonderful time here. It felt like a dreamy place, and I only wish I could have stayed longer. I’d absolutely recommend it and will definitely come back.

The countryside setting was peaceful and quiet. There’s a restaurant about a 10-minute walk away, and the coast is roughly 20-30 minutes away by car. A great place to stay.

I’m vegetarian, and although the only thing I had was a Spanish omelet, they also made me a full salad with a good variety of ingredients. The service was excellent.
