It’s worth leaving the highway for a meal here. The hotel restaurant has a good daily menu, mixing local dishes with food from elsewhere, and there’s a nice range to choose from.

I waited for a while, even though I was the only one there, and then a woman arrived and got served ahead of me. The man serving was rude and even snatched the money from my hand. My coffee cost $1.80 and was much too strong for me. Not good service.

Breakfast was a packed, chaotic affair, with what seemed like half the village there alongside the hotel guests. Service was slow, so it was hard to enjoy the meal or start the day well. At Hotel Del Sol, I also found the rooms cramped and uncomfortable, with little chance to relax after work. I’d advise anyone looking for a comfortable, easy stay to avoid it.

Breakfast and dinner service moved at a good pace and were enjoyable. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful with everything. Hotel del Sol was clean and welcoming, and I’d recommend staying here for either work or a personal trip.

The room was spotless and comfortable, and the price included a continental breakfast. Both the WiFi and air conditioning worked well. It’s a very nice hotel and restaurant, with excellent service from the waiters and outstanding hamburgers.
