The huevos con pepinillo was just okay and could use improvement, but the rest of the meal was delicious. We sampled a little of everything: pulpo, alcachofa, croquetas, and bread were all excellent. Our tour guide had recommended it, and the packed dining room with plenty of locals suggested it had a good reputation.

A receptionist at our hotel sent us here, and we were so glad we followed the recommendation. The food was delicious and arrived quickly, even though only three people were working. Our server took great care of us, doing his best to explain the menu when he realized Spanish wasn’t our first language and suggesting local dishes. My husband and I had a delightful time.

The chuleta (steak) was excellent with Murcia potatoes and vegetables. We also got a cracking bottle of Riberia del Doura for 37 euros. The same bottle costs £33 takeaway to drink at home in London, and it’s rated 4.1 on Vivino.

The service was kind, the food tasty, and they have good wine.

We had the steak, a fantastic cut that was really tender and well seasoned. The service was amazing, with all the waiters and staff on point, and the drink recommendations were great. Recommended ♥️
