Hey U Apartments

I had a very pleasant stay in a clean, comfortable apartment and only wish I could’ve stayed longer. It’s a 5 min walk from the train station and about 10 mins from the start of the main tourist sights.

Everything was excellent. I highly recommend it!

We were told there was no guarantee of a double bed, only “if available.” Two hours before check-in they changed our room, saying it was “unsuitable,” and gave it to some young people, who played loud music and smoked marijuana. The replacement had steps, even though I’d specifically asked for a room without them. Then we got a message telling us not to disturb them with noise. Unbelievable, we were outside! They said they’d sent the message to all the rooms. There was no hairdryer. If you want a ceramic hob and a pot, you have to request them in advance. I did, and they said you’re supposed to ask “upon arrival,” so they could tell us then. The €190 price before the discount was a joke. They’re trying to look “trendy,” but the place is terribly managed. When we complained, the conversation went nowhere. They kept repeating the same thing without answering our question. The neighborhood was ugly in several ways, and parking was impossible. And more besides. Definitely one to forget.

The room was spacious, really clean, and had a comfortable bed. The design was very cool and unique, and checking in with the code from the reservation was easy. It cost less than most hotels in the area.
