The room stayed at a comfortable temperature without needing the A/C, which I preferred. It was quiet, and the staff were relaxed, friendly, and helpful. My dietary restrictions meant I couldn't try the included breakfast, but nearby supermarkets and restaurants offered enough variety. The historic old town is also not far away.

There's a pleasant outdoor area where you can have dinner or a drink. The rooms are what you'd expect from the chain, and the location works well when you're travelling and just need a layover.

I arrived on April 28, during the 2025 Iberian Peninsula Energy blackout. I know the outage wasn't the hotel's fault, but I was surprised the staff didn't make a little extra effort to welcome arriving guests and ease the hassle and worry. I'd asked for a beer as a welcome drink, but was told they couldn't provide it because the computer system was down. If I were running the hotel, I'd have taken one from the fridge and sorted out that bureaucratic detail the next day.

The rooms are cleaned every day, and breakfast has an okay range of choices. There's plenty of free parking, too. The basics are covered, but the really amazing part of the stay is the staff, always friendly and helpful.
