Clean, friendly staff, and well maintained. The rooms are compact and basic, but nice. There’s a large restaurant on site that seems aimed at winter sports visitors and perhaps walkers. We chose it because it was convenient for our motorbike route.

Such a lovely place, and the people are great. We loved the breakfast and the rooms. There was hot water, and the rooms were heated.

It’s close to the station and the heating works, but I’d only consider it as a last resort if there were no other options. For a hostel, it’s not cheap: I paid €95 for a room with a private bathroom. There are other places nearby, including much more welcoming rural houses. The outside looks like army barracks, and the inside is so-so. The room was small, though reasonably clean.

Isabel arranged en-suite rooms for our family snow weekend, with grandparents, children, and grandchildren. They were lovely and clean, and Isabel and Abel took great care of us, preparing breakfast and dinner, with lunch available too. The set menu with ribeye steak was delicious, so I recommend it. The location was ideal, about a half-hour drive from the Leitariegos ski resort.

A very affordable place with everything you need for a snow trip, and it’s close to the snow. The bathrooms are shared, but they’re spacious and we never had to wait. Highly recommend it.
