ibis Murcia

Breakfast had plenty of fresh options, including eggs, meat, and cheese. The hotel was clean and felt right for a budget stay. It’s also close to a tram stop for getting into the town centre, and parking is free.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location worked well for arriving by car. What made the stay stand out was Nerea at reception. Her smile and excellent service made me feel welcome and put me at ease. I’ll come back.

The cafeteria was the bright spot: the food was very good and the service was nice, so I’m giving the hotel two stars instead of one. The room, though, was quite dirty, with crumbs and other bits on the desk and stains on the walls. Really gross. I barely slept during my one-night stay. Kids were screaming next door, people talked loudly in the hall, and every door closing sounded like it was being SLAMMED. The rooms aren’t soundproofed at all.

We’ll definitely stay here again. It’s good value for a short visit to Murcia, with clean, comfortable rooms, free parking, and a good breakfast. You can get food at other times too, and the tram stop is nearby. Our room key didn’t work at first, but a very friendly man apologized and sorted it out.
