Hotel Sercotel JC1 Murcia

The room on the 7th floor was excellent, with a huge bath and a window I could open, which helped since the heating worked so well. I slept undisturbed in a great bed, and the fridge was handy, though tea and coffee in the room would have been welcome. When the TV channels disappeared, reception replied within five minutes and came up to sort it out. Check-in was very professional, and in the morning the receptionist was helpful with maps, sightseeing tips, and advice about the tram stop right outside, four stops from downtown. This is a landmark Sercotel in Murcia, easy to reach, with street parking. A very recommendable international business-style hotel.

I recommend this hotel for its excellent service. Moving our booking from another HOTEL in the same chain turned out to be very difficult, but the management kept working on it until we succeeded. They even matched the price I had at the other Hotel. Thank you very much!

The breakfast buffet had a good range of choices, though vegetarian and halal options would have been a welcome addition. We slept well, and the beds were comfortable, even if their legs felt shaky when getting in and made me wonder if they might give way. The rooms were clean and big enough. Check-in was easy, and the woman at reception was really friendly. We drove for a family trip and found the hotel easy to reach by car. We paid an extra 14 euros a day for underground parking because we didn't want to risk leaving the vehicle in the public lot. They give you a card to access the garage.

The rooms were roomy and really comfortable. It's a good spot if you'd rather stay outside the city centre but still be nearby by tram, about 5-8 minutes to the centre. Highly recommended 👌
