A friendly team, good food and a nice atmosphere. Handy for stopping in for coffee as you pass through.

The weekday set menu was 17 euros and quite decent. It's a family-run place, with quick, good service.

I've worked as a traveling salesman for 35 years, and this has never happened to me before. I first arrived on Wednesday, November 12th, at 2:40 PM. The person serving me, who I think was the owner, had a very serious expression and said my food would take 40 minutes. I asked about another restaurant nearby, and he told me there was one in Villablino, 20 minutes away. Since Villablino was already my destination, I went there and picked up a package. I finished quickly and came back for lunch, arriving at 3:43 PM. I was met by the same serious, unsympathetic expression, then told they couldn't serve me because the kitchen had closed at 3:30 PM. My family has run a restaurant for 49 years, and nobody who comes to us has ever left without eating, whatever the time, because we always find them an alternative. Cumbres de Omaña, you can keep your bread. I hope your arrogance and lack of empathy come back to bite you. I can't say whether the food is good or bad, but even a delicious meal is spoiled by that attitude.
