We started calling it “the cave house.” It’s a lovely stone place with all the amenities, and a great choice if you want some peace and quiet.

We had a perfect weekend. I brought friends here as a surprise for my 50th birthday, and Susana, the owner, helped me keep it a surprise right through to the end. The house is really nice and well equipped, and its location worked especially well for sports and excursions.

Even with the terrible heat outside, the house stayed cool, and its location was ideal. Susana was the highlight: she made sure everything was ready when we arrived and looked after things during our stay, including suggesting routes and restaurants. The terrace is comfortable and has a barbecue. The only squeeze was the sofa area for five people; the rest of the house worked well for six.

Susana even let us stay late on Sunday, which was a lovely end to a great weekend. She was incredibly attentive throughout. The rooms were lovely, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen worked perfectly for our large group. We also enjoyed the outdoor terrace, which had all the utensils we needed.
