We found this treasure in the hills of Huesca after car trouble left us stranded by the road. Carlos and Maria took us in and made up a room that was wonderfully cozy and warm. Waking up to the incredible view over the region felt like a dream. They also served a delicious breakfast in the morning, with cured meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee. We’ll definitely return, and I’ve saved this place as a treasure.

The staff were so friendly and wonderful, and we had a great time. The hotel room felt medieval and was cozy, warm in winter, and had everything we needed, though perhaps a fridge would have been useful. The shower was hot. The restaurant surprised us with how good the food was. We tried the lamb chops and one of the fish dishes as entrees, and all the other courses were very good too. Everything was well made, and we left very full. Parking is in the plaza behind the prominent tower, a very short walk away. José’s directions were good.

Our room was lovely, in a beautiful building in an idyllic spot, and we loved our stay. We arrived on a Sunday when we didn’t have many options, so they opened the restaurant just for us. Everyone was welcoming, and the meal was incredible: delicious salad, orange chicken, and sea bass, all made with plenty of fresh local ingredients.

In this remote Aragon village, the property smelled of smoke throughout, and the bathroom had a moldy smell. Check-in was dysfunctional, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work because management couldn’t figure out the current passwords. The place felt overpriced and poor value.

Management changed in the last two months, but the service was smooth and incredibly friendly. The restaurant was absolutely excellent: simple food, very high quality, and great value for money. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
