Cram Hotel

We enjoyed a couple of hours at the very nice rooftop pool and bar before heading out. The paid car park is down the street, about 40-50m away. We stayed one night in a Superior Room with Balcony before flying out of Barcelona. The narrow balcony had no room for a table and chairs, and the room was quite small, though that’s normal for Barcelona. It was nice enough, but not really worth the price. The bathroom needs renovating: there was mould, and the smoked glass door has a clear strip from top to bottom by the handle that faces straight onto the toilet when closed, so it doesn’t feel very private. The location was OK, but I’ve stayed in better spots in Barcelona. We had to walk quite a way to reach the shops and places we wanted to see.

The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and always ready to help. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the food was delicious with plenty to choose from. We slept really well on the amazing, comfortable bed. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

The breakfast had a huge selection, and both the service and housekeeping were spotless. The hotel’s decor was stunning and immaculate, and our room was amazing, overlooking the streets of Barcelona. It’s rated four stars, but honestly felt like five. I especially want to mention the fantastic barman who served us, the man from Uruguay. I’m so sorry we didn’t get your name. We’ve just returned from Hotel Cram and can’t wait to visit again.

The room controls were pretty unusual. I only figured out later that it was a love hotel. Everything else was great, though I woke at 6am one morning because the bed was shaking from what sounded like a “happy moment” in the next room. No idea how the beds were connected through the wall, but it was a funny experience. I heard other noises on the remaining nights too, but those didn’t bother me the same way.
