The setup takes a little getting used to: the entrance doubles as the kitchen and living room, opening onto the garden, while the bedrooms are reached from a small porch outside. The beds are roomy and really comfortable, and each bedroom has its own shower bathroom. The shower design means you can't fill it all the way, and the floor gets wet when you use it. There are small built-in wardrobes with curtains. The house has heating, air conditioning, a full kitchen and an outdoor barbecue. It seems especially suited to enjoying the garden in spring or autumn.

The patio is lovely, and the kitchen has everything we needed and all of it worked well. We found the rooms beautiful and the beds very comfortable. The host was warm and suggested some great excursions. We had a really pleasant stay and will definitely come back.

At €70 a night per room, I thought the value was good. The patio is lovely, and the food at the adjoining hostel, which has the same owner, was very good. The owner was friendly and helpful, and pets are allowed. The room photos don't really reflect what you get, though: the rooms are smaller and much less bright. The bathroom is tiny, especially the sink, which is only big enough for washing your hands.

The rooms were spacious, and Kerman was attentive throughout, which made our stay nicer. We were lucky to have Christmas Day dinner in the lovely inner courtyard. The house itself is very nice, with cozy decor.

They let us bring our dog, which we really appreciated, and everyone was hospitable and attentive. Having a restaurant right there was handy, so we could eat breakfast and dinner on site. The local ingredients were cooked really well. We'd suggest trying the artichokes, peppers, cod, curd, flan and rice pudding. It felt welcoming and good value, and we'd stay again if we come back to Navarre.
