BQ Alcudia Sun Village - All Inclusive

Food, drinks, and rooms were all on point, and the entertainment crew were friendly and engaging. I can't see why this is rated three stars. In my opinion, it deserves four or five. I'd definitely come back.

The staff were warm and welcoming, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Jennifer deserves a special mention: she was helpful, professional, and went above and beyond, making my stay even better. I had a really great time here.

A lovely beach is just down the road, and the views are beautiful. The food was good quality, the pool was okay, and there was a small water slide area for kids. The poolside bar was great, too. The rooms felt a little narrow, and the nearby lake brought a few mosquitoes. Still, it's a good, fairly family-friendly place for a holiday.

We had a great holiday, with good food at every meal, a nice pool, and a fantastic entertainment team. The hotel is close to one of the best beaches. There are a few convenience shops across the road and more shops and restaurants about five minutes away. Other useful bits: a small gym, bike facilities, evening shows, and parking outside if you have a car. Cocktails were tasty and made to order, though there was very little alcohol in them, so you'd need quite a few to feel anything. The rooms are dated. We were given an accessible room with a wet room, and shower water went across the floor and into the hallway every time, slipping under the curtain. The shower head was broken and sprayed water through a hole at the top, but they replaced it promptly after we reported it. The spirits were extremely watered down, which was obvious when we asked for a few neat. The cocktails were watered down as well, and the cocktail bar didn't open until 5:30 p.m. There was always a queue, sometimes around 15 people with just one person serving. They strictly don't let you take cocktails or other drinks from outside the restaurant into dinner. We didn't know and went in with two cocktails, then got thrown out while we still had plates of food in front of us. We had to move outside, and after we'd relocated everything, someone told us we couldn't sit there either. It was ridiculous. I don't understand the rule when the restaurant serves wine and beer. They did let us finish eating as long as we didn't touch the cocktails while sitting there 🤷🏽‍♀️🤯
