Joana was attentive to everything we needed, even though we never got to meet in person. We’re so grateful we found this place and for the lovely service. There was complimentary bottled water at the entrance with a note and cookies, little touches that really made a difference. Our room was on the ground floor. We missed having a window, but the air conditioning helped. The bathroom was accessible, the beds were comfortable, and everything looked beautiful, with tasteful decor. The location is charming for walks around the port and old town, and there are several places to have lunch or dinner. I’d happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Muros. The owner was wonderful, very attentive and quick to sort out a couple of problems we had. The guesthouse is also spotlessly clean, everything in the room seemed very new, and the Ritual's amenities were a lovely extra. Its location is hard to beat. We stayed three nights, and these comfort issues are just our personal preferences. There were no blinds, only blackout shades, so we couldn’t get the room completely dark. Two emergency lights in the room and another in the bathroom stayed on. That makes sense for emergencies, but having them right above the bed was inconvenient. The seagulls were extremely loud, sometimes sounding like they were right outside the window. If noise bothers you or you’re a light sleeper, keep in mind they start calling at dawn and go on until very late. For sleeping in darkness and quiet, I’d bring an eye mask and earplugs.
