The location is perfect, and the place was clean enough. Staff were very nice, and they gave me a bathtub when I asked. But room 406 was right beside the elevator motor, which was extremely loud until 11 p.m. That shouldn’t be a room. The coffee machine was broken too. I know how to use it, and it didn’t work.

I booked a private room with a bathroom because of medical requirements, but they downgraded me to a room with no facilities.

My group’s treatment was shocking. The owner disputed that we’d booked for four, even though we showed her the booking details and proof the money had left our account. She was rude and unhelpful, and an hour late. We booked a much better place in town and didn’t let this spoil our Camino. There were three other people who witnessed how she behaved, though I expect she’ll reply rudely and say it was my fault. You’ve been warned. It’s telling that the owner answers bad reviews with rude, insulting messages. I think that says what kind of person she is.

The owner canceled my booking on the day I was due to arrive, without explaining why. I never got an explanation afterward either, and my advance payment still hasn’t been refunded. A terrible experience.
