The hot shower was the only part that felt adequate, and at 15 euros per person for the night, this was expensive for such a shabby shelter. We were put in the annex, where the room smelled of smoke and was dirty, and the bed linen seemed used and unwashed. We ended up feeling we had to sleep in the garden among bulky waste and rubbish. The walled garden door wouldn’t lock, and during the night two people staying in the annex woke us. The host hadn’t mentioned them. When we arrived, he was at the bar instead of reception and was unfriendly. Pilgrims on the Camino should give this place a miss.

The showers were good, but this was the worst albergue we’ve stayed at so far on the Camino. Our room was in the side building, and it smelled of smoke. The sheets were dirty, and 15 euros without breakfast didn’t feel like good value. At night, the door to the main building was shut, so we couldn’t get to the bathroom.

I was looked after well, and the host was very welcoming. He made me a nice dinner, and both the bed and shower were clean. I’d definitely recommend it.

It was dirty and dusty when we arrived, and the beds had black sheets. During the night I felt something crawling on my leg and discovered it was bedbugs. Don’t stay here!
