We got a lovely welcome from the warm, friendly woman at the desk. The dorm was spotless and seemed brand new, with disposable sheets, good ventilation from large windows, and a shelf and charging ports at every bed. The mattress was really comfortable, though I recommend bringing a sleep mask. The showers had a fold-out seat and hooks, and the water stayed very hot even late at night. The spacious kitchen was lovely, and there was a modern, inviting communal area upstairs with a great view, plus photos and historical information about Muxia. Private rooms on the upper floors open onto terraces and look amazing. Clotheslines were available for drying, Wi-Fi was good, and they sold fun postcards and merchandise. It's close to local shops, restaurants, the church you should see, and the lookout on the mountain above town. A very modern, well-run hostel, highly recommended for pilgrims or anyone wanting a private room.

My favorite town and albergue on the Camino, for so many reasons. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was spacious, well kept, and super clean. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need, and the location in town is perfect. Most of all, the people who work here and run the place treat you like family, with so much genuine love and kindness.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and very kind, and even offered free homemade soup with bread, something I'd never seen before. The building is recent, spacious, and well located, with very good facilities. The dormitories are large but still have plenty of room and are well organized. This albergue deserves its five stars.

We really liked the private room option. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the Albergue has nice views and cozy spots to spend time together. The staff were very helpful, and Celia was especially nice to us.

BELLISSIMA MUXIA. The Albergue is modern and extremely well located, but it's the staff who make it special. Celia, the hospitalera, is the warmest person imaginable. Every night she brings free dinner for anyone who wants it, whether it's soup curry, pasta, or a different dish each day, with no extra charge. When I came back a second time, she hugged me about three times and said the most important thing is for people to feel part of the family, because that's what they are. Brick walls, foundations of love. AMAZING.
