The room was very nice, and the check-in process worked really well. We did have trouble getting the shower temperature right. Breakfast was included in our booking, but both the cafeteria and the churro place they work with were closed, so they put together a picnic lunch instead. It was a kind gesture, though we couldn’t even get a coffee, and the sliced bread was only okay.

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and okay, and the bathroom was fine, though very dated. Still, I would never stay there again. I’d requested a ground-floor room because I’m disabled and struggle with stairs, but half an hour before we arrived they messaged me on WhatsApp to say the elevator was broken. Once there, they put us on the fourth floor and said they couldn’t move us, asking whether I wanted to stay or leave. It was a complete mess. The stairs were old, narrow, and had no handrail, and our suitcases barely fit. I’ve now read that the elevator had already been out of order for at least three weeks.

The room looked nice and had plenty of space, but it opened onto an interior courtyard with no airflow at all. We only realized how bad it was overnight. The room got so stuffy it was hard to breathe, which was awful. We were also left outside for half an hour because nobody answered the phone, then spent another ten minutes trying to reach someone on the tablet. Honestly, I was surprised there was no receptionist or anyone in charge. I won’t be coming back.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice before, but this visit was awful. The courtyard-facing room was old and clearly hadn’t been renovated. It was really hot, and we couldn’t air it out. I couldn’t open the window because people opposite could see in, and there wasn’t a curtain. The bathroom had the same issue. We could hear everything happening in the courtyard.
