Eurostars La Pleta

Apart from Pillar at reception, who was the only one who didn't insult us, the staff couldn't sort out the problem and made our New Year's vacation miserable. Sandra and Ignacio were rude and acted as if it was our fault. We booked a double room with an extra bed, but got three single beds instead. There wasn't even a baby cot, so I had to rig up chairs to stop our baby from falling. For a five star hotel, the cheap pillows were disappointing too. Their website lets you book for three people but gives no way to choose the beds. We were two adults with a three year old, obviously a family, but they kept saying we could have been cousins or friends with a child and should have left a comment. We were traveling with another family whose room was fine, so why would our situation be treated as though we were two cousins and a baby? Hahaha. People paying a lot for five star standards and luxury will be very disappointed. I won't come back and totally don't recommend it. We visited lots of hotel restaurants, and there were much better options at the same price. Big shame.

The little touches made the stay special. After skiing, there was hot chicken broth and lemonade in the locker room, plus mulled wine and sparkling wine in the lobby. The staff were attentive, friendly, sensitive, and always ready to help, and they left small gifts in our rooms. The transfer to the ski lift was convenient too. It's a small, cozy, comfortable hotel. Our rooms were warm and comfortable, and always spotless. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty to choose from and fantastic gravlax. I had a wonderful time!

The breakfast was among the best I've had at a hotel. The place is beautifully designed and the service was excellent throughout. For a ski trip, everything was easy, with a complimentary shuttle to the slopes and rentals and repairs available on site. I'd happily recommend it.

The ski locker was great, and they had fresh lemonade there. Breakfast was good, and the staff were great too.
