The village and the setting were lovely. It’s small and has few amenities, but the bar treated us so well, and the tapas, especially the pig’s snout, were fantastic. The house is spacious, has plenty of beds, a well-equipped kitchen with new utensils, and decent bathrooms. It’s right by the river, with hiking trails starting nearby, so it’s a great spot for walks. We came over the All Saints’ Day long weekend and had no phone coverage. Pepa told us Wi-Fi would sort that out, but there wasn’t any Wi-Fi either. The TV didn’t work, so we felt isolated with the children. Pepa said it wasn’t an issue because 112 is always available, but she only sent us lots of excuses over WhatsApp. She didn’t come to hand over the keys or check on the problems. The house also felt neglected and in need of improvements. We slept in a room full of sandflies. That may be common near fields in the countryside, but the dampness and general deterioration made the situation worse.

The owners were lovely and made us feel very welcome, and we had a wonderful New Year’s stay in 2025. The house was clean, tidy and welcoming, with two full bathrooms and a handy toilet downstairs. Hot water was piping hot, and the garden and barbecue area were very spacious. There’s no mobile reception, as is common around there, but Wi-Fi is available throughout the village. The place itself is enormous: very roomy bedrooms, a huge living room, and a large kitchen and dining area downstairs. The heating was on full blast, along with both wood-burning stoves, one in the living room and one in the kitchen-dining room. I’d add more kitchenware, like glasses, dishes and forks. The giant paella pan, stand and gas cylinder were there and worked perfectly. Thanks so much!

We had a great stay, and Pepa and her husband were kind and attentive throughout. There was plenty of firewood, and when we needed stove tablets and ran out of salt, they sorted it out quickly. The house was roomy and welcoming, with good-sized bedrooms. The only small hitch was that the hot water wasn’t as hot when the radiators were on, but a little planning can get around that. Three families and six children came to "Las Tejeruelas" over the May bank holiday weekend. The house is beside a stream and a trail that goes past several mills. We especially liked Uncle Alberto's mill. It’s well-preserved, and the young guide was friendly and explained everything clearly. It’s a lovely area for spending time in nature. We’d happily repeat the experience. Thank you, Pepa, it was a pleasure meeting you!

We had more than enough room for three families over a weekend. It’s a very spacious country house right in nature, with a big living room and fireplace that feels cozy, plus a generous kitchen downstairs. There’s also an outdoor barbecue, and hiking trails start right from the house. Everything was spotless and in great condition. There’s no mobile coverage in the village, but the house does have Wi-Fi.

A lovely weekend, and the area’s a great choice if you want to disconnect. The house was fantastic, spacious and very clean. The little pool was a real treat for the kids, too. The owners were wonderful and kept checking in, making everything easy for us. We’ll definitely come back.
