The only thing I’d improve is the bath towels, which are very small. That seems common in this kind of accommodation. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time. It’s a great country house for big groups, with spacious rooms and really comfortable beds. When it’s not raining, the garden is lovely to enjoy, even in winter, with the barbecue.

We couldn’t use the pools because it was off-season, and there are no board games. Still, it’s a lovely place to enjoy nature and good company. We stayed over the May 1st long weekend with 45 people, 41 of them adults, in the neighboring but separate houses Venero Claro and Agua Clara. Both suit large families with children. We booked both because we wanted rooms for couples and didn’t need every bed. The website details were completely accurate. Rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds, towels, and linens; some have en-suite bathrooms. The modern, clean bathrooms all have showers, and with some planning there are enough for about three rooms to share each shower. Kitchens are fully equipped with small appliances, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and two large refrigerators in each house. Agua Clara has a living room that works well for group meals; the one at Venero Claro is smaller. Both porches are cozy spots to take in the beautiful landscape and hear the relaxing Alberche River. There are large barbecues and utensils. We had catering from Gema restaurant, as listed in the house information and highly recommended, but also used the barbecues to cook 12 steaks at once, bought from Rafael Gonzalez butcher shop. Both houses have TVs, though we didn’t turn them on since we were walking, chatting, or playing music. Emilio handled the booking and information, while Dulce gave us the keys and showed us around. They were both attentive, friendly, and available by phone.

We stayed in a bungalow, and it was beautiful, with every detail just right. It felt more like a suite! The place is genuinely charming, and the service was exceptional. 🥰🥰

There were 40 of us, and the heating was fantastic, so we stayed warm despite all the rain. We couldn’t make full use of the patio, but the porch was a lifesaver. Thanks so much for everything!
