There was no firewood for the barbecue, which was the one thing I’d fault. We visited in November and the house was heated so well we were almost too warm. It’s large and well equipped, with bedrooms on both the basement and second floors, each with a modern bathroom. The kitchen has everything, and the spacious living room is divided into several areas.
Norma was lovely and so friendly. The spacious, comfortable house is beautiful, and the pool and garden are fantastic. It was all great, and I’d recommend it without hesitation for a group of friends.

You can park several cars inside the property, which meant we could sleep without worrying about them being easy for thieves to reach. The village is quiet and convenient, with restaurants, bars, shops, bakeries, and all the usual amenities. The house has a lovely feel for families or groups: a well-equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and mattresses, and enough sofas in the living room for 12 people. The gardens and outdoor areas are beautifully kept, with flowers and neat lawns, plus a barbecue and pool, though it was a shame we couldn’t use the pool. The house really surprised us. There were 15 of us this past weekend, and we found it spacious, comfortable, and full of charm. Six bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a huge living room, and a wonderful patio with lots of potential. The weather kept us from enjoying the patio fully, but we’d definitely come back. A great choice!
