We spent both days looking forward to breakfast, especially the fresh yoghurt, homemade cakes, and honey that might be the best I’ve had in a long time. There were the usual choices too, like cereal, bread, cheese, and cured meat. Lunch sandwiches and salads were available, and dinner service was excellent. The building has been tastefully renovated while keeping its centuries-old character. There’s a main building with suites, shared lounges, a library, and a huge wine room that you can only look into. Montserrat views follow you around the property. We passed the time walking, reading, and taking in the natural and historical surroundings. Three sweet dogs and lots of cats live here, including Dali, the indoor cat. Most of all, the care from the staff stood out. When my girlfriend became ill on our second day, they treated us like family, made many exceptions, and did everything they could to help us feel comfortable. I have only fond memories of this beautiful place and can’t wait to return.

The dogs and cats around the property added to its small, intimate feel. We loved the breakfasts and dinners there too, they were incredible. Such a special place. I’ll definitely try to come back!

The team made our wedding perfect, with so much care and attention to detail. I planned the whole thing from Canada as a Canadian bride, with help from the lovely owner and wedding coordinator. The hotel is an amazing find, and the photos really don’t do it justice. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the rooms are tidy and full of character. I’d love to come back to enjoy the pool and the nature around the hotel. 100% recommended. Thank you, la Garriga and all the staff, for everything.

A perfect spot for our writers' retreat, with a peaceful location for a quiet getaway. The building has been renovated beautifully, and the rooms feel luxurious. Mine even had a red piano! The local food was delicious, with vegetarian options too. Rosé gave an excellent massage, and you can feel the love and care from the four-generation family running the place.
