Cameras at the entrance made me feel watched from the moment I arrived. They live in the building, and from their shop downstairs they keep track of who comes and goes. The air conditioning only runs for up to two hours; if they hear it on while you're away, they message you on WhatsApp to switch it off. It feels like they're monitoring you all day, and paying for an apartment still doesn't seem to give you the right to rest and enjoy your stay. This is my last year here after several visits. Sebastian seems to think guests should stay inside without air conditioning, under surveillance, and not be allowed to enjoy themselves.
