The location was phenomenal, perched on the bluff above the beach, with an elevator down to the beach and an easy walk into town. There were great restaurants and bars nearby, plus a nice pool and friendly service at the bar and restaurant. Our room was nice, with a big bathroom and shower, and a little private patio opening onto the lawn, loungers, and pool area. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
The breakfast buffet was the best, and everyone from housekeeping to the dining room staff was friendly and attentive. Jose Louis greeted us when we arrived, always smiling, and gave us great tips for the city. We loved everything about the Padador and hope to end our vacations here every year. I hope the remodeling keeps the charm of this wonderful hotel. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed, with lots of drawers and closet space, a large bathroom, and a big balcony overlooking the grounds and ocean.
Lunch with those stunning sea views was a dream, and the service was top notch. The food was absolutely delicious, all in beautiful surroundings.
The EV chargers show up on the map, and there’s no sign saying they can’t be used. A hotel staff member was very rude and pulled the cable out of my car without asking me. It was the way he dealt with it that bothered me. He could have been much more polite.
We come here every couple of years, and the standards are consistently high. It’s a great hotel. They’re closing today for a two-year refurbishment, and I can’t wait to see how it turns out.
