Apartamentos Turísticos Las Rosas de Capistrano

The location was lovely, though it's a little way from the main town, around a 20-minute walk or an €8 taxi ride. We had a really nice, relaxing stay and would come back. The apartment was spotless when we arrived, and the sofa bed was comfortable, even though the listing said two bedrooms and there was actually one bedroom plus the sofa bed. A full-length mirror in the bedroom or hall would've been handy. We couldn't use the pool: it was full of flies. The pool bar stayed closed for the three days we were there and opened on the last day. Apparently, they don't open when rain is possible, which was a shame. Luckily there's a small shop around the corner for drinks and snacks.

The complex has two pools, and the nearest beach is about 15 minutes away, though the walk back uphill takes around 25. The rooms are spacious, with a large balcony looking over the sports stadium. There are two major supermarkets within walking distance. It's about 30 minutes to Nerja's old town and 20 minutes to the bus station for Málaga.

The pool areas were very clean and well looked after, and everyone on staff we met was pleasant and helpful. Our apartment was spotless, well equipped and had a great outlook. Local bars and supermarkets are close by. We're a couple in our late 50s and have been to Nerja five times in recent years. This was our first stay at Las Rosas, and it won't be our last. Burriana and Nerja are reachable on a fairly long downhill walk, with a quick bus or taxi ride back. A great experience, highly recommended.

The gardens were immaculate, the pools inviting, and the staff friendly. We used the pool bar a few times and found it pleasant too. We were happy with the privacy even though our one-bedroom standard apartment looked over a supermarket roof, since nobody passed by the room. In late July and early August, the sun reached our spot from about 3 until 9 pm, so the umbrella helped with the heat. Mornings were lovely for sitting out with coffee. The walk to the Balcon de Europa isn't too far, but it could be a bit much if you don't enjoy walking. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and I'd happily stay again.
