It's just outside San Jose, which is handy if you'd rather be a little away from the bustle. You can walk into town in 15 minutes or drive there quickly. I paid €55 a night in October. The room was spacious, clean and stylish, with a big private outdoor patio furnished with tables and sun loungers. I liked the ranch feel throughout. Breakfast was an extra €8, and I thought it was worth it for the wide choice of food and unlimited proper coffees.

I stayed two nights while touring the area. The food was great and the hotel staff were very friendly. Since I live in vera, I'm unlikely to stay again, but I'd certainly visit San Jose again and come to the hotel for a meal. After I got home and looked the place up, I realised the out buildings had been used many times for filming spaghetti westerns.

The pool area was clean, breakfast plentiful, and the staff very friendly. It's a nice hotel with a warm southern feel. Getting to the beach on foot isn't very convenient, though, and the shower quality and water pressure could be better.

They let us stay by the pool until our flight, which was very good of them. The rooms were large and very clean, with a terrace to sit out on, and the place was quiet. San Hose, with its shops, bars, restaurants and fabulous beach, is a 15-minute walk away. A great place to stay.

There was a cockroach in our bedroom, so we ended up sleeping in the car on the first night. We cancelled the rest of our stay and didn't eat or drink anything at the Hotel. We weren't charged the bill, but we're still waiting for our deposit back. The rooms were dirty and smelled, and the Wifi was terrible.
