It was hard to find the addresses and work out where you were, but the pictures the host sent were really helpful. Pack an overnight bag, because there are loads of steps.

Breakfast on the terrace, with the town and ocean below, was a highlight. The town felt relaxed, and we found great restaurants, a local market, and a bakery. Our room had a spectacular view, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. Such a lovely stay. I’d absolutely come back and recommend it.

A short walk gets you to the town centre, and the hotel had everything we needed. Our room was lovely, with a balcony and splendid views of San Jos'e and the sea. We’ll most certainly book here again if we return.
