The complimentary breakfast was a treat, and I found the room clean and comfortable. The location worked perfectly for me, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful stay and would happily return and recommend the hotel.

The terrace was nice, and the room was spacious, very clean, and even better than I expected. The staff and service were pretty rough, though. It was hard to have a cordial conversation with them, and the way they treated us didn’t make the stay pleasant.

Our matrimonio bed was enormous. The hostal itself felt cosy and was very clean. Breakfast was generous, with fresh bakery, fruit, cereals, sweets, tostadas, charcuterie, pâté, jams, juice and coffee.

In San José, Cabo de Gata, Almería, you get a lot for the price: breakfast, a small fridge, bathroom, balcony, flat-screen TV, wardrobe, table and chairs. It’s a charming hostel, in a great spot in this coastal village in the natural park, and well deserving of two stars.

The place was clean and well located, but the reception staff were extremely rude. I don’t think that deserves a better review or more stars. Good service matters a lot to guests these days, so I can’t recommend staying here.
