Villazul Villa Luz Del Puerto

Jesús was attentive and helpful the whole time, and we’d definitely stay again if we returned to Almería. The house is ideal for two families or one very large family. It’s right by the beach in the heart of San José, and the A/C was fantastic to come home to. The pool stayed very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. The photos are accurate, the house looks just as pictured.

Hello, here’s what isn’t mentioned online about the “Luz del Puerto apartment.” It isn’t really an apartment, but the ground floor of a detached house, with tenants upstairs and a shared pool and terrace. When the upstairs tenants use the pool, there’s no privacy in the “apartment.” The apartment/garage is two unfurnished rooms: one has shelves, the other some IKEA fabric hangers. The main room is below ground level, with a tiny window practically at ceiling height. The walls are painted but not plastered. The ceiling is very low, and if you’re 1.85 meters tall, the beam running across the room will be a problem. The dining room and kitchen share one open space. Indoors was very clean, but the pool area wasn’t. We called to have it cleaned, but nobody came back during our week-long stay. There are no bins, so you have to take your rubbish down to town. The appliances were new and worked perfectly. The beach side is lovely, but the street by the entrance is very dirty and neglected. The price is excessive for what they offer. Regards, Juan Antonio.

The location is good, though the furniture feels old and quite worn. The pool is small.

A really lovely place, with everything you need and a spectacular view. We were surprised with a private pool when we arrived.
