Hotel Senderos

We really enjoyed our stay at this cozy little hotel. It’s beautiful and very child friendly. Highly recommended.

We liked the hotel’s cleanliness, modern decor and friendly staff, and I’d definitely visit again. The hotel and its facilities were superb, but we had a confusing evening with food. At 16:00, we asked whether any restaurants were open and were told yes. We showered, got dressed and went out at 19:30, then spent an hour asking three locals and walking around the village twice before learning that nothing was open. The nearest option was in Carbonares, 5k away. We had to make do with the room’s packs of biscuits. Luckily, there was a bottle of wine in the car, so it wasn’t a total loss. If we’d known, we could have made other arrangements. The next morning the proprietor apologized and gave us a bottle of prize winning Virgen Olive Oil. It was a misunderstanding, as the restaurant that was meant to open had decided to close. I’d probably have a Menu Del Dia in the afternoon next time, when the bars and restaurants will be open.

Lovely room and great location. There are two pools. The air conditioning is very quiet and heats well too. It’s 9 deg at night right now.

The location is great.
