4/10
For a hotel rated four stars, the rooms and Wi-Fi don't measure up. The connection on the second floor wasn't good enough to use, and even the TV signal was poor. The hotel has no bar, so you can't sit with a coffee or beer after lunch or dinner, or while waiting for friends. The pool is small but pleasantly warm, though eating and drinking there isn't allowed. The buffet food was generally good, but there's not much variety. Staff clearing empty plates during dinner could be annoying, and the staff overall were good but nothing special. Parking is available, though the spaces are small and a long way down. The main thing going for the hotel is how close it is to the beach.

6/10
The buffet and restaurant were disappointing, with little choice. On the plus side, the staff were polite, the facilities were good, and the hotel is very near the beach. There is parking inside, and it's easy to find a spot outside too.

It feels like the Ryanair of a four-star hotel, with charges added for everything. Water isn't included in the €18 meal, and a cot costs €6. We arrived at 6 pm and still had to pay the full day's €9 rate for the hotel car park.

I stayed five nights last September while on a tour. The food was good, and in every respect it felt like a four-star hotel.

The rooms were large and clean, and breakfast had a superb selection.
