I picked this place to be near the waterfall. It’s not far by car, but getting here from Madrid was a tiring trip for me. The room was comfortable, though my small window had no view at all, let alone a sea view. Driving here would make it perfect. The breakfast package was fair for what I paid, especially since finding food on foot around here is also a challenge 😅. Dinner was okay too, though I’m not sure why the meat was served cold.

We felt at home during our really good stay at las Rumbas, thanks to the very friendly staff. There’s free parking, and the room was clean, though the furniture is a bit old. Breakfast was good: coffee, bread, fruit, ham and cheese, plus packaged pastries. I found the price a little high, but it’s very competitive for this tourist area.

We got a flyer from the owner as we were leaving the Monasteria, and wow, the food was fantastic. It was simple, homey comfort food, with loads of it: three courses for 16E. One of the best meals I’ve had in Spain!

The beds were quite comfortable, so getting a good night’s sleep was easy. It’s an adequate, just-fine hotel if you’re visiting the worthy Monasterio de Piedra, though the room Wi-Fi could be better.
