We came to El Gasco, Cáceres, looking for a rural break and found a place that felt peaceful and warm throughout. The cottages are cozy and full of country charm, with spectacular nature all around that makes it easy to switch off from the world. 🧘🏽‍♀️ Waking up in the mountains, breathing the fresh air and enjoying how quiet it is made the stay unforgettable. Ismael and Carmen were wonderful hosts and made us feel at home. Las Casitas del Bodegón is somewhere we hope to return to soon. Thanks to them for sharing their home and hospitality. 💚

We found this place by chance in a gift box and were really pleased with it. The accommodation was roomy, comfortable and had everything we needed, just like being at home. Carmen and Ismael manage it so well. Breakfast at the bar downstairs was perfect, and there’s a small shop for those little things you might need. We’d definitely come back if we get the chance.

We felt so well looked after in the little house, thank you for that. Ismael and Carmen are lovely and make people feel cared for with their homemade food and personal touch. The house was clean, welcoming and had everything we needed. Carmen and Ismael were wonderful from the minute we arrived until we left. Carmen was so kind and caring, and Ismael is a fantastic cook, every dish was delicious. I’d recommend it 100% and we’ll definitely return. Thank you for everything, Carmen and Ismael. Best regards.

We spent New Year's Eve there, and Carmen was incredibly kind right from the start. My blood sugar was low, so I asked if she could give me some sugar. She smiled and handed some over without hesitation. The place is clean, there’s a wide range of dishes, and there’s also a little corner full of sweets. Pretty hard to resist! 😋
