Meri made the place feel like home. When I stayed for the second time, she recognised me and greeted me with a big hug, then put me in a lovely dorm and said, "Ya sabes, estás en casa." She's open, funny, and easy to chat with, and the whole albergue has a cozy, family feel. After a beautiful etapa, arriving somewhere so warm and welcoming was wonderful. Her hospitality is worth its weight in gold. I can't wait to come back.

Mary es la mejor! Everything was clean, and there’s a kitchen guests can use. There’s a TV in the rooms, too, plus a separate room where dogs are allowed. Thank you!!!

The small kitchen could use a little more seating, though we understand the building can’t really be expanded. The rooms were clean, and we felt genuinely welcome. After a rainy day on the Camino Primitivo, it was lovely to come into such a warm place. The owner was really kind, checked us in straight away, and offered laundry service and somewhere to dry our soaked shoes 👣😊. We’d stay again and definitely recommend it to other pilgrims 💛!

Mery is the greatest albergue host of ALL TIME, no contest. Excellent place to stay on the Camino Primitivo.

We met a few pilgrims here whom we recognised, and I’d stay again. The host was polite and even walked over to meet us when we got the address mixed up. It’s a cosy albergue right in the centre, with a spacious, bright room and sturdy bunk beds. There’s also a nice restaurant about 50m down the road to the right as you leave. We stayed 17/06/25. The walk from here to Lugo is very long and has no shelter, so stock up on supplies and leave as early as you can.
