The rooms have little soundproofing, so noise from nearby rooms carried a long way and woke us during the night. Apart from that, it was a lovely stay in this pension in Salceda. The rooms are beautifully renovated, and the receptionist was friendly. There’s no food service, but you can buy dry ready meals, snacks, wine, and beer. The shared kitchenette has a fridge, microwave, and small kettle. Bring earplugs!

It’s nearly perfect, with lots of space and places to relax and chat with other pilgrims at the end of the day. The albergue is spotless, the staff are friendly, and the facilities are clean. The showers are normal, which is a win, and there’s a kitchen. The only snag is that the shared sleeping area has no power points by the beds. If you use a CPAP machine, ask the hospitalero about arranging an extension cable. Highly recommended.

The showers here are especially good. It’s a fantastic albergue, looks lovely, and has everything you need. The staff were friendly and helpful. I’d honestly recommend it.

We had a great stay. Everything was so clean and tidy, and there’s a lovely garden to relax in. The welcome was especially appreciated by people who only speak French 😉. I just missed having draft beer by the pint, but you can get ice-cold bottled beer at the welcome desk. Highly recommend 👍🏻.
