There’s no reception, so we had to deal with the owner only through messenger, and it felt scary with just my husband and me staying there. The room smelled moldy, and the blankets were unusable, so we had to rely on the sleeping bags we brought. It cost 65 euros despite the poor conditions. The place is more than a kilometer from the city center, restaurants, and cathedral, which was incredibly inconvenient. I’d slept in a dorm the night before and it was much better. I’ll never stay here again. Calling this a place to stay is ridiculous.

Juan, the owner, treated us wonderfully and was very friendly. There were three of us, and the room we got was amazing: bright, with several windows, plenty of space, and everything tidy and very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom spotless, with a hairdryer as a nice extra. There’s a free washer and dryer, and Juan let us have breakfast. The final stage of the Camino runs right beside the property. We’ll definitely come back.

After I developed a tibial tendon leak and couldn’t continue, Juan went out of his way to help my partner and me get to Santiago. It was the weekend, and transport between the two places was limited. I really appreciated his concern for us pilgrims, not just his business. The rooms were magnificent, and everyone working there was hospitable. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Juan was absolutely charming and helped us with everything. The place is quiet, clean, magnificent, and decorated very nicely. Our room was beautiful and more than adequate, and the bathroom was spacious and wonderful. Breakfast was good both in quality and quantity. If I pass through again, on the Camino or otherwise, I’ll stay here. Thank you, Juan.
