Hotel Rustico Punta Uia

The owners were so warm and helpful, and the food tasted like it had been made with real care. We slept comfortably and woke up to the ocean right in front of us. This was our first trip together, and the whole stay felt like a dream. Thanks so much, we'll definitely return. Love to you all, Elise and Dries.

The owner was friendly and funny, and the breakfast was probably the best we had at any of the hotels we stayed in during our time in Galicia. The room, though, was awful. It stayed freezing even with the heating turned all the way up, and a draft kept coming in with both the windows closed and the shutters down. The bathroom was particularly cold, with a draft strong enough to move my hair while I was sitting on the toilet. The toilet tank also took ages to refill after flushing, so the next person had to wait before they could flush. WiFi barely worked, and we could only get a signal in one part of the bedroom. I've seen lots of good reviews, so maybe we got the worst room, but based on our stay, even two stars feels generous.

The staff were pleasant, and the hotel sits up high with a view over the sea. There's a beach nearby if that's what you're after. Breakfast was good. We had assumed there would be a restaurant.

The staff were very polite, even though their English wasn't great. We spent two nights here. The first was in a suite with a lovely ocean view, but the shower in the toilet wasn't draining. The room itself was good. WiFi signal was very poor.
