Casa Lamelas

The people looking after the house were so friendly and always around when we needed something. The place had everything we needed, and there’s Wi-Fi too. It’s a cozy stone and wood house, decorated in an old-fashioned style with a wood-fired oven. I liked it a lot, though the humidity bothered me. Since it’s a rural house, people who are sensitive to that sort of thing may come across ants or spiders. We spent a few peaceful days here. There’s a hiking trail nearby that takes about two and a half hours. By car, Viveiro is 25 minutes away, and the beach is just 12 minutes away, with the “Cueviñas” little caves and different viewpoints to see. The views are incredible, whether from the bedroom window or the patio, with nature, water, and a bridge in the distance.

The owners were kind and respectful, and the place was clean with spectacular views. It’s a quiet rural house away from the noise, perfect for a peaceful holiday, and the service was excellent. It did feel a bit far from the main tourist attractions, though. I’d definitely return! 👌

What a disappointment. Instead of the peace and charming setting we expected, we ended up in a room that left a lot to be desired, with constant traffic noise. We booked Casa Lamelas through Club Rural, but they didn’t answer. When I called, they said I’d booked an apartment that wasn’t listed on the website. We accepted it even after they increased the advertised price. It’s very wrong to mislead people like that, sir.

José and his wife were lovely and so friendly. The room was splendid and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent with wonderful views. It’s a great place to relax and explore the area. I’ll definitely come back.
