Gaztanbide Apartamento rural

The location was perfect, and we had everything we could need. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it as a place to enjoy the Irati Forest and the surrounding area.

Lina was a lovely host, and the apartment was very clean with everything we needed. It’s super cozy, just right for a couple or four friends, and sits right on the town square with easy parking. Highly recommended.

Lina was really friendly, and I’d happily stay at her apartment again if I return to Ochagavia. It’s in the center, quiet and peaceful, with views of the square and parking right below. The place is very clean, has central heating and an equipped kitchen, and there’s also the option of a fireplace.

We were comfortable in the apartment, and everything there was fine. The problem was how the owner handled things after my daughter became ill. We arrived with her sick, and she had a fever for four days. We spoke with the owner and decided to cancel the last three days. In the morning, she saw my children playing in a small room and charged us an extra €70, saying she had to clean an additional room. When you book an apartment, aren’t you entitled to use the whole place? We had to leave because of an unforeseen illness, and we feel cheated. If I showed the owner the doctor’s notes, she’d be legally obliged to give a refund. Charging €70 at the last minute was a terrible gesture. At most, she could have charged €20 to clean the extra room, not €70. I’ll never stay there again or recommend it. Cleanliness matters, but so does being treated well by the owners.
