The pool, lawn and animals are all kept tidy and have a lovely feel to them. The flats are thoughtfully laid out and practical, and the whole place feels like home. I didn't meet the owners, who don't seem to be around much, but everyone else was very nice.

There’s a little kitchenette in the room, and the owners were friendly. It’s about a 15-minute drive from San Sebastián. We’d hoped to swim, but the pool wasn’t covered yet during mid-season, so we weren’t allowed to use it outdoors. As I understood it, they put a glass enclosure over it in winter.

The house feels tucked into nature, with green hills all around, though San Sebastián and even Biarritz are only a short drive away. It’s a terrific bed and breakfast for children. Everything was very clean and well looked after, and both the staff and breakfast were lovely.

We found plenty to keep the kids busy, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The home is small, but it’s new, modern and stocked with what you need, even a washing machine. We booked through Airbnb and were very happy with the choice.

6/10
A nice countryside spot for a short stay, with horses and chickens nearby for kids to see and pleasant beaches and cities close by. It felt overpriced for the room quality, though. The bed was uncomfortable, the apartment was humid, and the shower water was only lukewarm.
