Room 102 is where we stayed with our family for one night before carrying on to explore the towns. It seemed clean, but there were bed bugs on the beds. I spent the whole night sitting in a chair because it was too late to go somewhere else, and couldn’t sleep at all. It was a nightmare. I wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone, especially families with kids. I can’t say about the other two rooms. There’s also a bar right next to the rooms that stays open late, with people gathering and chatting and laughing. It didn’t bother me since I wasn’t sleeping anyway, but light sleepers will hear everything.

The hotel is nice, clean and beautiful, but I was left with a really unpleasant impression. I booked and paid for a room with three beds, yet there were only two in the room. The third was locked away in the wardrobe, and when I asked for it, they said I had to pay another £50 to have them open it and give it to me. I’d already paid for that third bed when I booked. This is a scam.

Avoid. We booked through Booking and were due to check in from 15:00. When we got there around 16:00, the place was closed and nobody picked up the phone. We called and waited for 2 hours, then finally booked another hotel. Thanks to Booking for the refund.

The rooms are spacious, new and very clean, and the staff were really helpful and nice. It was a little hard to find the place, and there’s no hot water kettle.
