We were glad we happened across this place. It's a really interesting idea, with something tasty to suit every budget. The whole family seems to be involved, from the bartender through to the chef.

We had amazing food here in this small village. From the daily menu, you pick your dishes and dessert for one set price, and there's a wide range of wines and other drinks too. Sergio is a good host, definitely worth stopping in for. Upstairs, the hotel is in an old but thoughtfully designed building. The woman who looked after the cleaning was very friendly. In the summer heat, though, not having air conditioning or a fridge in the room was a major problem.

On the way to Andorra, I stopped for breakfast and coffee. The service was lovely, and the takeaway breakfast was incredible. I'll be back!

Their cheaper, simpler daily menu is available in the Fonda section. We went for the "menu degustacio," which I found very good, with a nice balance of different dishes and high-quality local and regional ingredients throughout. This restaurant has operated as a Fonda and Restaurant for a long time, and they clearly know their craft. The Michelin star is well deserved. It's worth the trip despite being in a rather remote small town, especially if you enjoy their classic, rural style, which is quite different from big-city food. It's a great culinary experience.
