The coffee at the restaurant downstairs was delicious, and we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Estacio. The air conditioning was the problem. It was hot when we arrived and didn’t work, but after we asked, they turned it on and it ran that night. During our 3-night stay, though, it worked less often than it didn’t. We asked again, and he said he’d turn it on; it helped for a while, then stopped again. We couldn’t cool the room with outside air because the street below was noisy and smelled of cigarette smoke when the window was open. Closed, it was quiet but too hot.

The room could use a few small improvements. There was just one chair, no hair dryer in the bathroom, and only one shower gel and shampoo for a double room, which weren’t replaced daily. The TV is almost on the ceiling, so connecting a computer or Chromecast is impossible. Still, the place has been renovated, the bed is good, and everything is clean. With those little fixes, it’d be great.

I was in a single room, and it was very clean, with an excellent toilet and shower. Everything seems new. I’d thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The service is on another level. I wouldn’t call it the best hotel, but it’s definitely one of the best out there.

Nothing fancy, but decent enough. Fine for a short stay.
